What Worked
Ken Shamrock beat up Gangrel real good. This match worked because instead of having Shamrock zone out and DQ the hell out of himself, he zoned out and beat up Gangrel with wrestling moves, & good love 'im, Gangrel can & does sell. Ok, there was some garbagey junk in and around the ring but STILL. And then they finished the angle AFTER the bell with Ken stretching Christian for the information. PLUS, Shamrock walked around all night covered in BLOOD and it looked COOL.

Steve Williams vs. Bob Holly was ok if you squinted and the hesitation before the power slam was the only real blight considering it was a hardcore match and all. It was cool that Williams worked over a body part and Holly at least did a half assed job of selling it. Last week's IWA inspired frat house brawl ruled it in the this is so goofy it's great department.

X-Pac and 3H had another one of those good for a WWF TV match that worked because the wrestlers were at least competent at putting together spots within a three minute framework, fired up the crowd and did a coupla flashy moves. But in reality is was way too short and had a crappy finish. I could get into these guys feuding if they would kill the run-ins.

What Didn't Work
SCSA, Vince, Undertaker, more McMahons, etc., etc. I get it but I don't get it, know what I mean?!

The WWF's women's division has produced so much bad wrestling in such a short period of time that you almost want to put them on the permanent tape just so people will believe you ten years from now. They need to send Sable on the strip club circuit like they send the training camp workers to Memphis for seasoning 'cos her grind ain't working.

The Giant squashed Test in an attempt to Goldberg Paul Wight to the top. Hey! I told you this guy sucked hard.

Goldust is the IC champion again as another belt makes it way to the obsolete bin.

The LOD came back for their semi-annual push which is about as inexplicable as Meng's semi-annual push. At least WCW gave Meng some big pants this time around while all the LOD get is Paul Ellering.
