What Worked
Aguila and Jerry's kid had a pretty good match because Aguila hit all of his spots and both guys got to go on offense. The ending sucked but at least Aguila got the win. As happy as I was to see Aguila hit everything, most of it looked weak because he works and sells so loosely. I'm looking forward to the light heavyweight announcement because it'll probably mean the introduction of the real DX...Kantai! And I'll have Dick Togo on my freaking TV screen! THEN Dean'll be BEGGING ME to do the Raw report.

Steve Austin kicked my ass this week with his awesome presence and delivery. The angle really built well to it's climax and Austin trash talking the ancient security guard was the best. Vince McMahon played his role just right and was the fashion plate of the night in that inspired Boogie Nights wear.

Mike Tyson gave a taped interview which is always a good idea, and it was still pretty weak but the nice video package helped push this segment up a category.

What Didn't Work
Blackman & Shamrock vs. Faarooq and Rocky was ok in spots but there was nothing else there and it had a DQ ending which always sucks.

HHH, Chyna and the taped Shawn Michaels interview didn't do anything for me. It was competent and all but lacked any sort of spark, or a unique angle to make it memorable.

Windham vs. the wrestling Hart was not bad but it was pretty slow and there weren't any big moves and it had a lame countout finish so, all in all, it didn't work.

The Undertaker haunting crap sucked but the lockerroom skit with the clapping benches was funny in a this-is-not-wrestling way.

The Quebecers vs. Jack & Funk was pretty close to terrible, nostalgia can't make this match any good a second time. The usually reliable Pierre didn't hit any cool spots and Cactus Jack didn't show much either. Jacques and Funk are not very good anymore.

Mero and Goldust had a nothing match as an excuse to give Sable a makeunder. How could they have done that to the poor girl?

Hey, HHH didn't wrestle this week, and why should he? Not only does no one in DX lay down for anybody, they don't even break a sweat for anybody. Steve Austin did his run-in, and Michaels was really there and all, but it was pretty flat, nothing new, we'll see ya next week.
