NOLA has been a major bust on the bubble. The schedule was very favorable for them. They've laid an egg. Zion is a load of fun, but he's been part of laying the egg.

They just fired Alvin Gentry. I would assume the higher-ups in NO are going to select a coach that fits Zion's style of play the best. Get the most out of him.

And make sure he's in much better shape than he's in at the moment. Of course a lot of that depends on when the season starts. There's talk it might start in 2021. Which would help him as he recovers from the injuries he had his rookie year.

In the East I'm rooting for Boston. Playing them would be the most fun.--Yohe

Hayward is going to be out a few weeks so their chances got a little slimmer.

Today top seed Bucks lose to 8th seed Orlando. I can't see the Bucks making much noise. Aside from Giannis and Middleton, they don't have a deep roster.

Unlike the Raptors. Despite losing Kawhi and Danny Green to the two LA teams, I see them as not only winning the East, but they actually have a good chance at becoming back to back champions. Their young stars continue to show a lot of growth in addition to their veteran core.

When it comes to picking winner, I always go for the team that has won before. Winning the first one is really hard. --- Yohe

So Philly got swept. Granted Simmons was out, but they seem to be a mess capsize. Costly long-term deals to Tobias Harris and average Al Horford.

One wonders if there will be a whole new process in Philly. And Embed could be on the market.

Bye bye Brown in Philly.

That team is a mess with their Harris and Horford contracts, along with the question of whether Simmons and Embiid are optimal together.

Rockets and the surprising Thunder are tied at 2-2. Rockets really miss Westbrook.

Steve Nash is the coach of the Nets. Good luck to him. That's going to be something with Durant and Irving.

The Heat are up 3-0 against the Bucks. That's what happens when you don't have much depth. You eventually get exposed, when your two biggest stars are on the bench.

And that's not going to make the ever-growing rumors of Giannis leaving to join the Warriors, fade away.

With the Heat, they have a strong young nucleus, and combined with the great Jimmy Butler, it appears as if Pat Riley has done it again.
