Cool, I may need to put the jinx on Russell Westbrook next. Is there another Kardashian he can date?

Since it is only a couple of months away, I was curious who you guys had on the All Star team.
I fear guys like Duncan and Kobe may take slots that other deserving players should get. The only old guy who feels like he has earned it this year is Nowitzki who is playing amazing ball. With that said, Tim Duncan is in the Defensive Player of the Year conversation. Timmy never puts up stats like most blocks or steals but his rim protection is always elite and opponents don't score much in the paint. The sad thing is that Kawhi Leonard is right there shutting down people and he has the stats. I sort of hope that Aldridge doesn't make it so he can be pissed off and go on a tear the rest of the year.
For the West, these SHOULD be the starters at this point in the season ...
G - Westbrook
G - Curry
F - Leonard
F - Durant
C - Green
For the East...
G - DeRozan
G - Wade
F - Lebron
F - George
C - Drummond |

I have no qualms about your choices in the West, but in the East my guards would be Kyle Lowry and Jimmy Butler instead of DeRozan and Wade.

Agree with everything except for Wade. Toss up between Butler and the Toronto guards for the two spots. |

I picked DeRozan because he lit the Spurs up for 28 points in their win against us. That shit is giving me nightmares. I am not opposed to the Butler pick but I think Wade is actually deserving this year and wanted to give him a shout out. |

Well all my picks were terrible & not even close. John forced me to vote & I was trying to hit homeruns. So John's fault.--Yohe |

Eastern Conference (don't worry about the order - just the 8 teams you think will be in)
1. Atlanta Hawks
2. Boston Celtics
3. Chicago Bulls
4. Cleveland Cavaliers
5. Indiana Pacers
6. Miami Heat
7. Toronto Raptors
8. Washington Wizards
6-2. Not horrible, and the Bulls & Wiz were looked at as disappointing.
Western Conference (don't worry about the order - just the 8 teams you think will be in)
1. Golden State Warriors
2. Houston Rockets
3. Los Angeles Clippers
4. Memphis Grizzlies
5. New Orleans Pelicans
6. Oklahoma City Thunder
7. San Antonio Spurs
8. Utah Jazz
6-2. New Orleans was disappointing. The Jazz lost their center late, and that killed their chances.
Best Record in the East: Atlanta Hawks
Best Record in the West: Los Angeles Clippers
Best Record in the NBA: San Antonio Spurs
I was trying to be too cute. On the other hand...
I was right that the Cavs were there for the taking as the best record in the East. The Hawks were way off, but the Raptors almost took it.
In turn, the Spurs did have a tremendous season. It's just that the Warriors went insane. :)
ECF: Cleveland Cavaliers over Chicago Bulls
WCF: San Antonio Spurs over Golden State Warriors
NBA Champ: San Antonio Spurs
Spurs, Cavs and Dubs are alive. Bulls bombed.
MVP: Anthony Davis
ROY: Jahlil Okafor
Defensive POY: Kawhi Leonard
Coach of the Year: Pop
Not great. :)
1st Team All Pro
C Marc Gasol
F LeBron James
F Anthony Davis
G Stephen Curry
G Chris Paul
I'll get Steph and Lebron, and possible CP3. Gasol got hurt, and Davis was hurt all year dragging his game down before packing it in.
Not horrendous, but not great. |

Seems the Pelicans got a lot of votes before the season for a lot of awards. Myself included. They might be the most disappointing team in the league, after the Bulls. |

The Clippers' post season couldn't have been more disappointing. At least to them....I kind of enjoyed it.--Yohe |

Like I said at the time: if the Rockets won it all, Steve would have lost his mind. :) |
