Tonight was strange too. Like Game 5, the Warriors lost someone who was balling hard for them, in this case Klay Thompson. In the end, Raptors win and end the season.

So Im sure Kawhi will come back to Toronto. I can't see him having the same bad end he had with the Spurs.

I don't think the Warriors will be the same though. Even if Durant returns to the Warriors, he's out for next year. They have a lot of smaller questions as well with Klay, and Cousins free agents as well. We may have seen the end of the Warriors dynasty tonight.

News that Klay tore his ACL. just brutal. Truly the end of the Warriors dynasty.

Giannis the MVP in not a massive surprise.

Harden's third 2nd place finish in the last five years, along with the 1st last year.

2013 - 8th
2014 - 5th
2015 - 2nd
2016 - 9th
2017 - 2nd
2018 - 1st
2019 - 2nd

We can bag on his defense, and his flopping, and the Rockets inability to beat the Warriors in the post season. But he's been the anchor of a very good run:

2013 45-37
2014 54-28
2015 56-26
2016 41-41
2017 55-27
2018 65-17
2019 53-29

It's lined up with one of the greatest teams of all-time. It's a bit like the Clippers run of quality - some bad luck to have come along at the same time as an ultra historic team. Kings had the same thing running into the Lakers in the 00s, as did the Blazers. It happens.

And the Lakers ran into Boston in the 1960's. When the history is written it's tough shit.--Yohe
