Celts win in OT. Hawks did better than you would think without their star Josh Smith. They had to rely on 40 minutes of Tmac. And also one of the worst players in the league in Erick dampier.

Elsewhere the Bulls lost to the 76ers. Noah was banged up too. This might be a 1 and done year for the Bulls who are unable to have the success they had without Rose in the lineup, in the postseason.

Thunder advance after bouncing back from a 13 point deficit in the 4th quarter. Harden had an amazing game off the bench and is ready for Artest/Metta and the Lakers.

And the Mavs are going fishing. A disappointing end to their season.

76ers take a 3-1 series lead as the Bulls appear to be eliminated. Unlike the regular season, the loss of Rose has been very vital to them. And the Loss of Noah has been huge too.

I don't think I want to see a replay of this Davis injury to the knee. While he was laying there, it looked really unnatural with what looked like a long lump where there shouldn't be a long lump. :(

Knicks were making it interesting.

Celts crush the Hawks, next up can Kobe make it 3-1 or will Denver make sure that the series comes back to Denver one more time?

Sweep 'em, now it's the battle vs Memphis or LAC and just about a week off from playing. This is what I hate about the playoffs.

Good win in OT for the Slipps. Memphis just isn't the same team this year.

It's some combination of having Gay, not having the same Z-Bo and losing a 24-point lead in Game 1 for the Grizz.

Still, wouldn't be shocked if Memphis wins because at some point Hollins will just trap Paul late in games, right? Right? Someone wake up Lionel.

How many series get closed out tonight?

Pacers send Magic fishing
Philly sends Bulls fishing
Lakers send Nuggets fishing

Hawks going fishing is very possible. They've been eliminated at home the last three seasons, some of them in ugly Roll Over Like A Dog fashion:

2011 Game 6 vs Bulls

After getting blown out by *30* at home in Game 3, they went down by 10 in the 1st Qtr here and never challenge the Magic:

2010 Game 4 vs Magic

Yeah... there's a lot of dog in that team. They might just roll over.

The early games had the Magic headed to golf/fish as the Pacers wrap up their series. Whoever they face next round should beat them in 5.

But the Celts/Hawks series will have a Game 6. The Hawks win 87-86, in a back and forth game.

Pierce wasnt the same Pierce as he battled injury throughout the game. However he was almost the hero with a late 3. Probably the toughest thing for a game 6 with the Celts is no rest for Pierce. if they won tonight, he could've had 4 or 5 rest days.

You're wasting your time. I had this same argument with jdw years ago.

Still waiting for John and the crew to start that "Retire Mikan's #" petition.

Also, counting titles only since 1979 is the stupidest thing I ever heard.

So should the Dodgers take down the 1955 banner, and toss the numbers of Campy, Duke and Jackie in the dumpster?
